Enrolments : Dashboard Overview (Independent Schools Only)

Enrolments Dashboard

Updated over 3 months ago

Compass introduced a Dashboard view for the Enrolments module in late 2024/2025. This feature is currently available only to independent schools using V2 Pro. The dashboard provides a high‑level overview of enrolment metrics with interactive charts and summaries. Key components include:

Widget

Description

Enrolments each year

A horizontal bar chart showing the number of enrolments per academic year. You can filter by gender using the drop‑down menu.

Interviews summary

A set of cards displaying counts for interviews required, invitations sent, interviews completed and tours booked. Administrators can quickly gauge interview workload.

Gender summary

Cards showing the percentage of applicants by gender (male, female and other). Filters for year level, year and campus appear on the right.

Current status of applications

A donut chart summarising the status of all applications (EOI, drafts, submitted, waiting list, offered, offer accepted, awaiting placement, enrolled, unsuccessful, discontinued). Hovering over segments shows counts and percentages.

Application status by year level

A stacked bar chart breaking down application statuses by year level. Filters allow you to isolate specific years or genders.

Application conversions by campus

A stacked step chart showing how applications progress through stages at each campus, from EOI to Enrolled. Coloured bands represent campuses, and the bars narrow as applicants drop out of the funnel.

Application conversions by gender

Similar to the campus conversion chart but grouped by gender (male, female, other).

Administrators can apply filters (year level, academic year, campus and gender) to most charts. The dashboard helps admission teams monitor performance, identify bottlenecks (e.g., high number of drafts not submitted) and plan interview capacity. Because it aggregates live application data, it can also be used in leadership meetings to report on enrolment health.
